University recognition restored for Theta Delta Chi

Vice President for University Relations Joel Malina issued the following statement to the Cornell community May 27:

Effective immediately, Cornell University restores Theta Delta Chi fraternity to full recognition status, after being placed on interim suspension status, a pause in operations, on March 14. The Office of Fraternities, Sororities, and Independent Living conducted a full fact-finding investigation of allegations of hazing, as the first step in the judicial process, and found that allegations could not be substantiated.

Theta Delta Chi may take advantage of the full benefits of recognition in accordance with the recognition policy.
